Indian fashion is having a moment and this time, the world is looking closely at India’s designers, its craftsmanship and the stories behind its clothes.

At Paris Haute Couture Week, Rahul Mishra drew from Indian temple art for his Devi collection, while Manish Malhotra made his Paris Couture debut. Gaurav Gupta continues to build his presence in Paris with a permanent couture atelier, taking Indian design into the heart of global luxury.

The story goes beyond couture. W for Woman made its Paris Fashion Week debut, while Sabyasachi Mukherjee continues to take his unmistakably Indian aesthetic to international audiences. Dhruv Kapoor, too, is creating a distinctive space for Indian influences within Milan’s fashion landscape.

What we find most exciting is the way these designers are presenting India. Not through nostalgia, but through fashion that feels current, confident and unmistakably their own.

Our textiles, embroidery, craftsmanship, colours, silhouettes and cultural references are travelling far beyond India and finding new admirers along the way.

At PerfectU, we see this as more than a fashion moment. It is a story of Indian designers showing the world that our heritage has endless possibilities when placed in the hands of contemporary creators.

India has always had the craft. Today, its designers are giving that craft a global runway. 🇮🇳✨
